The Türkiye organization of the Switzerland-based Robatech Group is entering a new era in its Türkiye structuring with its new center, which was realized with an investment value of approximately 300 million TRY. Located in the Kocaeli Alikahya Organized Industrial Zone and with a closed area of 4,700 m², the Robatech Adhesive Technologies Solution and Training Center was designed as a comprehensive technology and service center that integrates sales, technical service, maintenance and repair, stock management, application tests, demonstration, training and quality control processes under a single roof with a focus on customer experience.

The primary goal of the investment is to provide faster, more comprehensive and higher-standard service to customers in Türkiye. In addition, by leveraging Türkiye’s strategic location, it is aimed to make Robatech’s technical know-how and technological strength more effective across a wide geography extending to neighboring countries as well as Central Asia, the Middle East and North Africa.

30 Years of Experience, a New Era

As Robatech Türkiye celebrates the 30th anniversary of its journey that began in 1996, it crowns this important milestone with the investment in its new Solution and Training Center. The strong field experience built with machine manufacturers and end users across many sectors, primarily packaging, food, furniture, mattress, hygiene, graphics and textiles, is today embodied in more than 7,000 Robatech systems operating across Türkiye.

The new center is seen as a reward earned by the industry for the know-how, customer trust and service culture that Robatech Türkiye has built over 30 years. Positioned as far more than simply moving to a larger building, the center represents an integrated service structure that analyzes customers’ production processes, develops the right applications, tests systems, trains technical teams and supports equipment for many years.

A World First in Technical Service: 600 m² Dedicated Service Area

One of the most notable sections of the new center is the 600 m² dedicated service area designed solely for technical service, maintenance and repair activities. According to Robatech’s assessment, a technical service infrastructure of this scale, dedicated solely to this purpose, represents a world first in the industry. This investment takes Robatech Türkiye’s strength in after-sales services, technical support and customer satisfaction to a new level.

Thanks to the new infrastructure, maintenance and repair processes for systems of different brands and models will be carried out in a more organized, controlled and traceable manner. In order to increase speed in technical service operations and ensure the same quality standard at every maintenance, many processes based on manual labor will be supported by specially designed technological machines and equipment. In this way, it is aimed to reduce person-dependent application differences, shorten maintenance times and ensure a high level of standardization in service processes.

While a 12-month warranty is planned to be applied to systems maintained and repaired at the center, all transactions will be recorded, offering customers a secure, transparent and traceable service.

The foundation of this approach is not only to fix the fault, but also to extend the equipment’s service life as much as possible and to protect the customer’s investment. While it is aimed to achieve maximum service life from systems through original spare parts and standardized service procedures, it is also aimed to prevent safety risks, performance losses and recurring failures that may arise from non-original parts and unverified service practices.

Thus, the 600 m² area is positioned as a strategic technical service center that goes beyond a classic maintenance and repair workshop, bringing together technology-standardized service processes, faster maintenance, safe production, long equipment life and sustainable customer satisfaction.

 

Stronger Operations with a 350 m² Stock Area

The 350 m² stock area in the center will contribute to the more organized management of product and spare parts processes and faster response to customer needs. Having technical service and stock operations within the same structure will strengthen coordination and operational efficiency in after-sales services.

New Demo Center: Showing Technology in Action

The new Demo Center will allow customers to see and test applications under conditions close to real process conditions in suitable projects, rather than evaluating Robatech technologies only through catalogs or technical documents. With studies that can be conducted taking into account different adhesives, production speeds, application amounts and surface characteristics, the Demo Center will serve as an application development and customer experience area beyond a classic showroom.

Seminar and Training Area for 50 People

In the seminar and training area for 50 people, operator trainings, technical service and maintenance trainings, new product and technology introductions, application and process trainings, technical studies for OEM machine manufacturers, customer seminars and sector meetings can be held.

Particularly for OEM machine manufacturers, the new center will offer a collaboration environment in which Robatech experts can be involved in projects at an earlier stage. By evaluating the adhesive application process at the project stage, determining the correct system configuration and carrying out the necessary application tests, it is aimed to strengthen Robatech’s position not just as a component supplier but as an engineering solution partner.

Dedicated Infrastructure for Quality Control

Quality control activities will also be carried out with a more systematic infrastructure at the new center. Having the technical service, Demo Center and Quality Control Department within the same structure will facilitate the evaluation of technical feedback from the field, the analysis of application experiences and the transfer of the knowledge gained back to the customer and the organization.

Sustainability Built Into the Building Itself

In Robatech’s global Green Gluing approach, innovation, efficiency and sustainability are treated as complementary elements. In line with this approach, the new center was designed taking LEED certification criteria into account, and the certification application process has been completed.

Smart building technologies and a Solar Power Plant (GES) are among the key components of the investment aimed at optimizing energy and resource use. The aim is to reduce the building’s environmental impact while increasing long-term operational efficiency, and to reflect Robatech’s sustainable technology approach—offered to its customers—in its own operations as well.

A Vision Extending from Türkiye to the Region

The strategic role of the new center is not limited to the Türkiye market. Türkiye’s position between Europe, the Middle East, the Caucasus and Central Asia, along with its strong machine manufacturing infrastructure, provides a significant advantage for the center to transform into a regional technology and knowledge platform.

While the priority is to provide stronger service to customers in Türkiye, it is also aimed to make more effective use of technical knowledge, application experience, training and service competencies in neighboring countries, Central Asia, the Middle East and North Africa. The center in Kocaeli is intended to become a regional hub where machine manufacturers, technical teams and sector professionals from different countries can come together for training, demonstrations and technical studies.

Supporting Turkish Machine Manufacturers’ Global Competitiveness

One of the important pillars of the new center’s regional vision is formed by OEM machine manufacturers in Türkiye. By working with domestic machine manufacturers from the project stage onward, Robatech aims to contribute to the development of the right adhesive application technologies and to support, through its global service network, machines manufactured in Türkiye and shipped to different countries around the world.

This structure aims to create additional value for the export projects of Turkish OEMs by building a stronger bridge between Türkiye’s engineering know-how and Robatech’s international technology and service network.

Official Opening on October 23

The official opening of the Robatech Adhesive Technologies Solution and Training Center will take place on October 23, 2026. At the opening ceremony starting at 11:00, participants will have the opportunity to closely examine the new center’s technical service, stock, Demo Center, application, training and quality control areas.

With an investment value of approximately 300 million TRY, a total area of 4,700 m², a 600 m² technical service and maintenance area, a 350 m² stock area, a new Demo Center, a 50-person seminar and training area, a Quality Control Department, LEED-focused sustainable building infrastructure, smart building technologies and a Solar Power Plant (GES) system, the new center brings Robatech Türkiye’s 30 years of experience together with the needs of the future.
