BYCHEM Showcased Its Product Portfolio and Production Technologies at Fakuma 2026

BAYEGAN’s manufacturing affiliate BYCHEM took part in the Fakuma 2026 Fair held on 12-16 October 2026 in Friedrichshafen, Germany. At the fair, one of the international gatherings of the plastics processing industry, the company presented its product portfolio consisting of thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU), plasticizers and polyester polyols to industry professionals.

Held at Messe Friedrichshafen and organized for the 30th time this year, Fakuma brought together international companies operating in the field of plastics processing technologies. Throughout the fair, BYCHEM introduced material solutions for different application and production needs, holding discussions on product performance, process requirements and customer-specific solutions.

Covering different areas of the plastics processing industry, particularly injection molding, extrusion and thermoforming technologies, the fair served as a platform where manufacturers, suppliers, engineers and decision-makers evaluated new technologies and applications.

New Collaboration Opportunities in the European Market

Fakuma 2026, which BYCHEM attended for the first time, laid the groundwork for new contacts in line with the company’s goal of strengthening its presence in the European market. While developing relationships with existing business partners, the company held discussions on new projects and potential collaborations with industry representatives from different countries.

BYCHEM Carries Türkiye’s TPU Production Power to Global Markets

At the fair, BYCHEM presented its thermoplastic polyurethane solutions, which stand out with high mechanical performance, durability, flexibility and chemical resistance. In addition to TPU products compatible with different production processes such as injection, extrusion, lamination and 3D printing, the company also presented plasticizer and polyester polyol product groups to industry professionals for different performance and process requirements of PVC and polyurethane applications.

Having commissioned the facility described as Türkiye’s highest-capacity TPU production investment, BYCHEM is progressing toward an annual production target of 50,000 tons. The company, which directs approximately half of its current production capacity to exports, positions Europe and the USA among its priority markets. The company’s second-phase goals also include expanding into the Middle East and Turkic Republics markets.

TPU products developed with 100 percent domestic capital are used in numerous sectors such as automotive, medical, footwear, electrical-electronics, cable, pipe and packaging. Used in various applications ranging from shoe soles to vehicle parts, and from electric vehicle charging cables to waterproof textiles, the material stands out with its flexibility and durability as well as its recyclable structure.

Advanced Polymer Technologies Through R&D Investments

BYCHEM’s R&D Center for polymer technologies operates with an infrastructure equipped with advanced technology devices across a 3,300-square-meter area. The center, which houses Türkiye’s first TPU reactive extrusion line, carries out product and process development efforts for different industrial needs.

Within the scope of research and development activities, the focus is on technical requirements such as bio-based content, recyclable structures, advanced UV stabilization, thermal stability and low migration. Through these efforts, the goal is to develop new material solutions for the performance and application needs of different sectors.
