Packsize Announces New Partnership with Henkel Adhesive Technologies

Packsize is expanding its sustainable product range with innovative solutions through a partnership with Henkel Adhesive Technologies.
Packsize®, a market leader in sustainable, made-to-order packaging solutions, announced a new partnership with Henkel Adhesive Technologies to develop innovative solutions that help reduce environmental impact and expand its sustainable product portfolio. This partnership demonstrates Packsize's commitment to prioritizing strategic partnerships in its market entry strategy.
Annually, 300 billion boxes—which contribute significantly to global emissions in the paper-based packaging industry—are sealed using 500,000 tons of hot melt adhesive. To address this challenge, Packsize and Henkel have launched Eco-Pax, a bio-based hot melt adhesive that reduces carbon footprint while maintaining performance.

Eco-Pax utilizes bio-based raw materials that do not use traditional fossil-based components. The adhesive will be used in more than 340 million boxes produced annually by Packsize's made-to-order packaging machines. The adhesive is estimated to reduce greenhouse gas emissions by up to 32% in line with SBTi targets, equivalent to burning 793.8 tons of coal.
