EGE KİMYA Germany GmbH, the German subsidiary of Ege Kimya, announced that it has acquired the grinding bead business unit of CERDUR Ceramic GmbH as of 24 February 2026. The strategic acquisition aims to strengthen the company's product portfolio for the paints and coatings sector.
Through this acquisition, Ege Kimya intends to expand its solutions in paint driers and high-performance grinding beads, further reinforcing its value chain. CERDUR's high-performance grinding bead technology, developed particularly for the paints and coatings sector, is expected to make a significant contribution to Ege Kimya's global product portfolio.
Following the acquisition process, it was noted that the EGE KİMYA Germany sales team, under the coordination of Onur Demirbaş, will contact customers regarding the new product group.
In his assessment of the matter, Erez Navaro emphasized that this acquisition represents an important milestone for operations in Germany, stating:
