Nippon Paint-Betek, which has boosted its capacity and operational strength through its new $15 million water-based paint facility, strategic production partnerships in Anatolia, and AI-supported digital transformation investments, recorded growth in its core business lines in the first half of 2026. The company is raising its targets for the second half of the year.
Nippon Paint-Betek, one of the leading players in Türkiye's paint and thermal insulation sector, completed the first six months of 2026 with momentum driven by growth in its core business lines and its strategic investments. Continuing its activities in paint and thermal insulation as well as industrial solutions and prestigious projects, the company is entering the second half of the year with strong targets, backed by investments aimed at increasing production capacity and digital transformation efforts.
In his assessment of the company's performance in the first half of the year, Nippon Paint-Betek General Manager Hasan Gökhan Güner noted that, despite global geopolitical developments, fluctuations in raw material costs, and tightening in financial markets, the company progressed in line with its targets thanks to its operational competencies.
Güner said, "We have left behind an intense and productive first half of the year. Thanks to our experience, high production capacity, and flexible operational capability, we continued to progress toward our targets despite volatile market conditions. We achieved successful results in our core business lines, thermal insulation and paint. Despite the rainy first six months, we recorded growth above last year's figures in both volume and turnover in our thermal insulation business line. In our industrial business line, we reached our targets in furniture and industrial paints, while in industrial adhesives we exceeded our targets in both volume and turnover terms. This performance in the first half also allowed us to raise our targets for the second half of the year."
Production Capacity to Reach 345,000 Tons with New Facility
Investments in production infrastructure constitute one of the key elements of Nippon Paint-Betek's growth strategy. The company's second water-based production facility, commissioned in the last quarter of last year with a $15 million investment, operates with end-to-end automation infrastructure.
The facility, which will provide an additional annual capacity of 225,000 tons, is expected to bring the company's total production capacity up to 345,000 tons once it reaches full capacity. Designed to meet the company's production needs for the next 10 years, the facility's average daily production tonnage reached 500 tons as of June 2026. The company continues its efforts toward a daily production target of 700 tons.
Production Partnerships in Anatolia Strengthening
In addition to its investments in production infrastructure, Nippon Paint-Betek is also strengthening its operational structure in Anatolia through strategic partnerships. In this context, the production partnership established with İzoset in Diyarbakır contributes to increasing operational agility in the Eastern and Southeastern Anatolia regions.
The partnership, which aims to strengthen regional production and supply capabilities, is intended to increase order volume and operational capacity in the region.
Reaching Craftsmen and Professionals Through Field Organizations
Field organizations and direct communication with stakeholders also hold an important place in Nippon Paint-Betek's growth strategy.
As part of the Nucleus Roadshow held in the first half of the year, the company came together with 1,465 dealers and craftsmen in 16 provinces. Within the scope of the Fawori Roadshow, approximately 6,000 craftsmen were reached through 68 events held in 19 provinces. As part of Filli Boya's "Gündem Sohbetleri" (Agenda Conversations) organizations, 500 construction professionals were met in 5 provinces.
Noting that field activities are supported by technical expertise, Güner stated that Nippon Paint-Betek is positioned as a solution partner in projects across different segments.
Güner said, "We derive our strength in the market not only from our production capacity but also from our strong stakeholder network in the field. From craftsmen to dealers, from construction professionals to project developers, we continue to strengthen the ties we have built with our broad ecosystem. By combining this field dynamism with our technical competence, we take part as a solution partner in prestigious projects across different regions of Türkiye."
Digital Transformation Accelerating with AI-Betek
In addition to production and field operations, the company continues to develop its digital infrastructure with new technologies. Following the transition to SAP HANA and the Connect platform, which enables the integrated management of operational processes, the AI-Betek artificial intelligence infrastructure that was subsequently commissioned represents a new stage in the company's digital transformation efforts.
The Insulation Technical Assistant, Paint Technical Assistant, and HR Assistant developed within the scope of AI-Betek support employees and field teams in accessing information more quickly and in carrying out operational processes more effectively.
With the strength provided by the increase in production capacity, regional partnerships, field organization, and AI-supported digital transformation investments, Nippon Paint-Betek aims to maintain its growth momentum in the second half of 2026 and to further advance its targets in its core business lines.
