GREEN Chemicals A.Ş. Becomes Türkiye's 411th R&D Center

Research and development and innovation have become indispensable factors in competition today. Countries whose industries are supported through effective R&D incentives rank at the highest levels in the World Competitiveness Index. The Ministry of Industry and Technology supports the private sector in producing technological knowledge, introducing innovation in products and production processes, raising product quality and standards, increasing productivity, reducing production costs, commercializing technological knowledge, and developing pre-competitive cooperation in order to establish an internationally competitive structure for the country's economy through R&D and innovation. In this way, it has created a program aimed at supporting and encouraging technology-intensive production, entrepreneurship and investments in these areas, as well as increasing employment of R&D personnel and qualified workforce directed toward R&D and innovation. GREEN Chemicals A.Ş., having successfully implemented all stages of this program, received its certificate approved on 20.03.2017 from ministry officials at a ceremony held, becoming Turkey's 411th R&D centre, and taking its place among 21 R&D centres operating particularly in the chemical sector. As the GREEN Chemicals family, our aim and expectation is that the R&D work carried out will return as advanced technology products that will create added value in our country's economy and increase our competitiveness in the international market.
