Sanipak Conducts Coastal Cleanup in Beykoz: 180 Kilograms of Waste Collected

Turkish personal hygiene products manufacturer Sanipak organized a coastal cleanup event in Istanbul Beykoz under its Selpak Professional brand to raise environmental awareness.
The event, held on 2 October at Gelara Cove, was attended by representatives from the Turkish Ministry of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change, the Ministry's Istanbul Provincial Directorate, and Turmepa. Volunteer teams composed of Sanipak employees participated in collecting 180 kilograms of waste comprising plastic, metal, paper and glass.
This activity was carried out as part of the "Zero Waste Blue Education Project," implemented in cooperation with the Turkish Ministry of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change since 2024. The project aims to raise awareness on marine protection and increase waste management consciousness in the tourism sector.
Sanipak has trained approximately 800 tourism workers through the project so far and aims to reach 1,000 people by year-end. In line with its sustainability strategy under the motto "Our Promise to Tomorrow," the company continues to develop environmentally friendly solutions in its production processes.
