Muhammad Ali Rahim Najjad appointed to the position of Sanofi Eurasia Finance Director

Sanofi has strengthened its Eurasia Region management team. Muhammad Ali Rahim Najjad has started his new position as Sanofi Eurasia Region Finance Director and Pharma Finance Business Partner.

In his new role, Najjad will be responsible for determining Sanofi's financial strategy in the Eurasia Region, managing financial performance, and supporting business objectives with a focus on sustainable growth. Based in İstanbul, Najjad will also be a member of the International Markets Finance Leadership Team and the Eurasia Region Management Team.

International finance experience at Sanofi
Holding an MBA in finance, Muhammad Ali Rahim Najjad stands out with his international experience gained in senior finance and management positions across different geographies. A member of leading accounting institutions in the UK and the US, Najjad has taken on significant responsibilities in different markets throughout his career at Sanofi.

Najjad joined Sanofi in January 2016. In his most recent role, he led the establishment of the Control Operations structure in Budapest, and previously served as Finance Director for Egypt, Sudan and Iran. He subsequently took on the responsibilities of Interim Country Head and General Manager in Iran.

Prior to Sanofi, Najjad gained finance experience in various sectors including telecommunications, cable, and electricity transmission and distribution. In his new role, he will apply his accumulated expertise in international finance and management to contribute to Sanofi Eurasia's strategic priorities and sustainable growth objectives.
