Two Senior Appointments at Horoz Lojistik

At Horoz Lojistik, Rukiye Kara has taken up the position of Overseas Warehouses and Distribution Europe Regional Director, while Hüseyin Daş has started as Domestic Full Truckload Aegean and Mediterranean Regional Director.

Horoz Lojistik, one of the established companies in the logistics sector, has strengthened its management team with two new appointments in line with its growth targets. Rukiye Kara, who has more than 25 years of experience in international logistics, sales and business development, has taken up the position of Overseas Warehouses and Distribution Europe Regional Director. Hüseyin Daş, who has more than 20 years of experience in logistics and supply chain management, has assumed the role of Domestic Full Truckload Aegean and Mediterranean Regional Director.

Rukiye Kara to head European operations
Rukiye Kara, who has more than 25 years of experience in the logistics sector, has held managerial positions throughout her career in various areas including sea, air and road transportation, global sales management, international business network development, procurement and strategic planning.

Kara, who began her career at DHL, has held various managerial positions in sales, operations and business development at companies such as Kuehne + Nagel, Panalpina, Zer Merkezi Hizmetler, Gezairi Transport, TAN Groups, ESALCO Logistics, Galata Taşımacılık and Kıta Logistics.

Most recently working at NTG Türkiye | Nordic Transport Group, Kara joined Horoz Lojistik as of August 2026.

In her new role, Kara will lead Horoz Lojistik's warehouse and distribution activities in Europe. Kara's areas of responsibility include carrying out efforts toward the company's growth targets in Europe, developing business partnerships and strengthening customer relations.

Aegean and Mediterranean operations entrusted to Hüseyin Daş
Hüseyin Daş, who has more than 20 years of sector experience and more than 16 years of managerial experience in logistics and supply chain management, stands out with his experience in operations and supply chain management, domestic full truckload transportation, customer services, field and regional management, and operational efficiency.

Before Horoz Lojistik, Daş served as Aegean and Mediterranean Regional Group Manager at CEVA Logistics, and spent approximately 18 years of his career at Borusan Lojistik. At Borusan Lojistik, Daş held various responsibilities, primarily as Regional Group Manager and in the management of operations and customer services for the Çukurova Region; earlier in his career, he also worked in operations at KSN Lojistik.

Daş, who joined Horoz Lojistik in August 2026, will manage the company's domestic full truckload transportation operations in the Aegean and Mediterranean regions in his new role. Daş will lead efforts aimed at increasing operational efficiency, improving service quality and strengthening customer relations in the region.
