The Pİ Women's Cancers Association held a discussion session at the P&G Turkey office aimed at raising awareness about HPV and cervical cancer. During the event, employees received important information on HPV prevalence, the progression to cancer, and prevention methods.
The session was opened by Özge Erdem, Head of Marketing and Health, Oral Care Commercial Operations at P&G Turkey, Caucasus & Central Asia. Association President Seral Çelik moderated the discussion, while Gynecological Oncology Specialist Prof. Dr. İlkkan Dünder participated as expert speaker.
Association President Seral Çelik emphasized that HPV is a widespread virus that often progresses undetected, stating: "Through early diagnosis and regular screening, it is possible to prevent cervical cancer related to HPV. Our discussion sessions aim to encourage women to undergo health check-ups."

Prof. Dr. Dünder noted that approximately 2,500-3,000 women are diagnosed with cervical cancer annually in Turkey, emphasizing the lifesaving role of awareness and early screening. Participants directed their questions regarding HPV infection, the progression to cancer, and prevention methods to the experts.
The event, which took place with strong engagement from P&G employees, provided an important platform for raising awareness and once again underscored the importance of sharing accurate information on HPV and women's health.
