According to Omdia, the market research firm's first-half 2026 data, Hisense became the world leader in global shipments of televisions 100 inches and above, reaching a market share of 55.1 percent. As global demand for large-screen televisions increases, strengthening Hisense's position in the giant screen segment, the brand is focusing on enhancing the viewing experience with RGB MiniLED and Hi-QLED MiniLED technologies.

Hisense, which operates in the fields of consumer electronics and home technologies, maintained its global leadership in the television segment of 100 inches and above in the first half of 2026 as well.

According to data from market research firm Omdia, Hisense ranked first worldwide by achieving a market share of 55.1 percent in TV shipments of 100 inches and above in the first half of 2026. The data revealed that consumers' interest in larger screens continues, and demonstrated Hisense's strong position in the large-screen television segment.

The RGB MiniLED era in display technologies
Supporting its leadership in the large-screen segment with new display technologies, Hisense is focused on offering a more realistic and immersive viewing experience.

The RGB MiniLED technology used in the brand's UR9 Series independently controls red, green, and blue light at the backlight source. Through this technology, improvements in color accuracy, contrast, and detail level are targeted, offering a more vivid and realistic viewing experience, especially in cinema and sports content.

Hisense's U7 and U6 Pro Series, on the other hand, bring MiniLED performance to a wider product range with Hi-QLED MiniLED technology. Combining precise local dimming technology with Quantum Dot color technology, these models aim to offer higher brightness levels in bright areas, deeper blacks in dark scenes, and more vivid colors.

Global leadership in Laser TV as well
Hisense's expertise in the large-screen field is not limited to televisions. The brand also holds a strong position globally in the Laser TV category.

Hisense accounted for more than 70 percent of global Laser TV shipments in 2025. This ratio means that more than two out of every three Laser TVs shipped worldwide carry the Hisense brand.

This approach to large-screen technologies stands out as part of the brand's strategy to reshape home entertainment with wider, higher-quality, and more immersive screen experiences.
