Muse Contemporary Art Gallery Hosts Text Exhibition

Muse Contemporary Art Gallery Welcomes Summer Muse Contemporary Art Gallery, among Istanbul's leading contemporary art galleries with an international presence, is welcoming summer 2023 in its modern Levent venue with a group exhibition curated by Taner Yılmaz, showcasing bold works by 10 young artists. The "Without Boundaries" exhibition brings together 10 young artists. Under the curation of Taner Yılmaz, the exhibition features works by Ali Topaoğlu, Artem Martis, Buğra Erol, Büşra Kölmük, Derin Öztürk, Dilan Tanburoğlu, Halise Karakaya, Melis Baçaru, Tuba Geçgel and Zekican Kaya from different disciplines. The "Without Boundaries" exhibition, which does not adhere to traditional artistic boundaries, offers a deep and engaging experience, prompting reflection on physical and conceptual limits. In the exhibition, which features over 50 works, each artist fearlessly explores the depths of imagination, challenges traditional norms and invites viewers to discover the boundaries of creativity. Diverse works are presented to art lovers on white walls with Pacific and Galata, among Cubo's most ambitious colors for 2023. The selection features different mediums. Ali Topaoğlu contributes with satirical paintings depicting difficulties encountered in life and emphasizing the distortion of seriousness. Derin Öztürk presents caricature-style works conveying experiences on the path of spiritual awakening using the vibrancy and energy of color. Dilan Tanburoğlu contributes with portraits using black models that emphasize how unity is found in the essence of differences and that true beauty lies in imperfections. Zekican Kaya participates with illusionistic works enriched by striking color palettes and various contrasts. The exhibition draws viewers' attention by bringing together works of different textures and materials. Young sculptor Artem Martis emphasizes the concept of transparency with sculptures made from waste glass using the advanced recycling principle, while Büşra Kölmük attracts attention with metal bra and panties sculptures from her Indecent series. Halise Karakaya, who creates three-dimensional canvas works using wood, linen and polymer, develops a distinctive style. Melis Baçaru reinterprets famous works from art history using glass and acrylic together. Tuba Geçgel brings a youthful and dynamic spirit to the exhibition with her colorful punch weaving works. Multidisciplinary artist Buğra Erol, known for his conceptual and striking works, critically examines our problematic position in the world in multiple psychological and sociopolitical dimensions through his works in the exhibition, also indicating his stance as a committed activist against environmental crimes. Opening on 14 June with walls enlivened by Cubo's Galata and Pacific colors, enriched with fragrances from Atelier Rebul, design furniture and carpets from Mozaik Istanbul and Selam Carpet, and lighting design prepared by Paarla, the exhibition awaits all art lovers at Muse Contemporary Art Gallery until 16 September 2023.
