PepsiCo announced financial results for the fourth quarter and full year 2024.
According to the results, PepsiCo achieved 2% organic revenue growth globally. PepsiCo Turkey delivered double-digit organic revenue growth.
Ramon Laguarta, Chairman and CEO of the company, stated: "Despite sluggish category performance trends in North America, the ongoing impact of recalls in our Quaker Foods North America division, and trade disruptions caused by geopolitical tensions in certain international markets, our business demonstrated resilience in 2024. Our productivity initiatives, which have been increasing year over year, enabled us to invest in our business divisions while recording improvements in gross profit margin, operating margin, and earnings per share in 2024," he said.
Laguarta continued: "As we enter 2025, we will take steps to improve our performance in North America while continuing to successfully expand our international operations. Our ongoing productivity initiatives will help finance disciplined commercial investments and support our profitability. Therefore, we expect low single-digit organic revenue growth in 2025, alongside mid-single-digit growth in core constant currency earnings per share. We also announced that we will increase our annual dividend per share by 5% for payments after June 2025. This underscores that our dividend payments have increased consecutively for 53 years."
PepsiCo achieved 2% organic revenue growth compared to 9.5% organic revenue growth in 2023. In international operations, it recorded 6% organic revenue growth compared to 12% organic revenue growth in 2023. Throughout the year, India, Egypt, Poland, and Turkey achieved double-digit organic revenue growth, while South Africa, Brazil, and Thailand delivered high single-digit growth, and Mexico, Colombia, Vietnam, the United Kingdom, and the Philippines posted mid-single-digit growth.
