Eksun Gıda Announces 2024 Financial Results

Eksun Gıda published its 2024 financial results on the Public Disclosure Platform (KAP). According to the results, the company's domestic sales reached TRY 7.8 billion, while total exports amounted to TRY 2.3 billion.
Eksun Gıda General Director Ahmet Demir stated in a comment, "While continuing our growth through strong investment strategies, we increased the total flour silo storage capacity of our Tekirdağ and Konya plants by 11.4%, bringing it to 11,700 tonnes. We also signed a EUR 14.1 million supply contract with Nordex Energy, one of the world's leading turbine manufacturers, and launched our green transition process."
Operating under the Sinangil and Sinangil Gluten YOK brands with over 200 product varieties, Eksun Gıda published its 2024 financial results on the Public Disclosure Platform (KAP). According to the results prepared in compliance with Turkish Accounting Standards 29 (TAS) inflation accounting principles, the company's net sales revenue was TRY 10.1 billion, gross profit was TRY 791 million, and gross profit margin reached 7.8%.
"Our total assets approached TRY 5 billion"
Eksun Gıda General Director Ahmet Demir, commenting on the financial results, said, "Our total assets approached the TRY 5 billion level, shaped by Eksim Holding values and our visionary approach. We view this performance as a significant milestone in our company's steady growth journey. With our TRY 2 billion in equity, we have built a solid capital structure, while our domestic sales volume of TRY 7.8 billion and export performance of TRY 2.3 billion are the most concrete indicators that we are moving forward without slowing down in both the local and global arena."
"Our plants' total flour silo storage capacity reached 11,700 tonnes"
Emphasizing that Eksun Gıda is moving forward with confident steps toward growth targets through a strong investment strategy, Ahmet Demir stated, "To reinforce our advantageous position in the sector, we invested in 12 flour silos at our Konya plant. Thus, we increased our Konya plant's flour silo storage capacity by 34.3%, bringing it to 4,700 tonnes. We increased the total flour silo storage capacity of our Tekirdağ and Konya plants by 11.4%, bringing it to a total of 11,700 tonnes."
Referring also to the inclusion of Babaeski Agricultural Products Licensed Warehouse Inc., located in Kırklareli, within Eksun Gıda, Demir said, "With this investment, we aim to optimize our storage processes with advanced technology. We are continuing our efforts to make our operations more efficient through high quality control and security protocols, insuring materials, customized storage solutions tailored to needs, and effective inventory management."
"We will reduce our carbon footprint through green energy investment"
Commenting on the renewable energy investment carried out in line with food sustainability and uninterrupted production policies, Ahmet Demir stated, "In this context, we received invitation letters for a wind energy plant (WEP) investment with a total capacity of 18.9 MW to meet the electricity needs of our plants in Tekirdağ and Konya.
We also signed a supply contract worth EUR 14.1 million with Nordex Group, one of the world's leading turbine manufacturers, and began the process of implementing the project. Most recently, our Ministry of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change gave a 'positive' decision on our project's Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) report." Demir added that they aim to reduce their carbon footprint sustainably by benefiting from Eksim Holding's expertise in renewable energy.
