Atakey Reached Record Sales Volume in the Third Quarter, Increased Net Profit by 66 Percent

Atakey Patates reached the highest quarterly sales volume in its history in the third quarter of 2026, while increasing its net profit by 66 percent compared to the same period of the previous year. The company's third-quarter revenue was realized as TRY 1.28 billion following TAS 29 inflation accounting adjustments.

Atakey Patates, one of Türkiye's leading frozen potato producers, announced its financial and operational results for the third quarter of 2026. The company achieved revenue of TRY 1,280 million, gross profit of TRY 121 million and EBITDA of TRY 150 million in the third quarter.

Atakey's total sales volume rose by 11 percent year-on-year in the third quarter, reaching 19.5 thousand tons. In the first nine-month period, sales volume reached 54.5 thousand tons with a 3 percent increase. Driven by growth in the onion rings, cheese sticks and potato croquette product groups, sales of value-added coated products also increased by 23 percent year-on-year in the third quarter.

Growth in sales volume and value-added products

Atakey Patates Chief Executive Officer Ahmet Özgül, in his assessment of the third-quarter results, stated that the company demonstrated a strong performance by increasing both its sales volume and net profit.

Noting that 84 percent of sales in the first nine-month period were made to TAB Gıda, Özgül stated that they continued to increase the value-added content of their product portfolio through growth in the coated product group. Özgül emphasized that the company's priority was to improve operational efficiency while maintaining growth in sales volume.

Stating that they aimed to maintain the increase in sales volume and the growth achieved in coated products in the last quarter of the year as well, Özgül noted that the contracted farming model, integrated production infrastructure and efficiency investments formed the basis of this goal.

Supply security through the contracted farming model

Atakey continues to implement the contracted farming model in order to support continuity and predictability in raw material supply. The company is expected to secure the harvest of approximately 115 thousand tons of raw potatoes by mid-November. In onion supply, the aim is to reach a level of 5.3 thousand tons in the first half of November.

Atakey, which carries out contracted farming with more than 100 producer farmers across 20 different provinces, manages its production process through an integrated model extending from seed to field, and from field to table.

Efficiency investments in production continue

The company produced 5.2 thousand tons of coated products in the first nine months of 2026, progressing in line with its annual production plan. Raw material and finished goods stock levels also remained at targeted levels in the third quarter.

The previously commissioned cogeneration investment continued to contribute to preventing production losses that could arise from power outages. The robotic palletizing system, commissioned on the packaging line in October, is expected to increase operational efficiency and reduce costs.
