Mitsubishi Electric, pursuing its "net zero" target in line with its 2050 Environmental Sustainability Vision, reaffirms environmental responsibility on World Environment Day on 5 June. The company, focused on protecting the quality of life not only for today but for future generations as well, is taking an active role in addressing climate change through innovative and energy-efficient technologies.

On the occasion of World Environment Day on 5 June, Mitsubishi Electric is once again demonstrating its firm commitment to environment and sustainability. Adopting the vision of moving towards better outcomes with its corporate slogan "Changes for the Better", the company aims to integrate environmental policies across all its operational areas to create a more liveable world on a global scale.

Operating under its 2050 Environmental Sustainability Vision with the "net zero" target, Mitsubishi Electric is investing in the future through energy-efficient products across different business lines, carbon-neutral production processes, circular economy applications and sustainable digital transformation projects. Within this vision, the company is focusing on transformation in five main areas: "Carbon Neutralization, Circular Economy, Safety & Security, Inclusivity and Well-being".

While improving efficiency through AI-supported systems, it develops long-lasting and cost-saving solutions compatible with different climate conditions.
