Pınar Özistanbullu Named Corporate Communications Manager at Metro Türkiye

Pınar Özistanbullu Demir has been appointed to the position of Director of Corporate Communications at Metro Turkey, effective 1 September 2025, as the company continues its work on the sustainability of Turkish cuisine and the future of gastronomic culture.

An important appointment has taken place at Metro Turkey, which has served as a leading business partner in the food and beverage sector in the country since 1990. Pınar Özistanbullu Demir, who joined the company in 2006 as a recent graduate and held important management positions in category management, target customer management, marketing, and events and sponsorships throughout her career, became Metro Turkey's new Director of Corporate Communications as of 1 September 2025.

A graduate of the Food Engineering Department at Istanbul Technical University in 2005, Özistanbullu Demir has developed the competency to evaluate different perspectives together through her long-standing experience at Metro Turkey and her knowledge of products, sector and customers. In her new position, Özistanbullu Demir will lead Metro Turkey's corporate communication strategies and bring the company's contributions to Turkish cuisine and the gastronomy ecosystem, as well as its sustainability initiatives, to the attention of the public.
