Yeo Teknoloji Targets 1 GW Abroad

YEO Teknoloji is strengthening its position in Europe as a global energy investor. YEO Teknoloji announced that the Bobiceşti solar power plant in Romania, in which its subsidiary DEFIC Globe is the 100% investor, has been commissioned. The investment will prevent 13,000 tons of carbon emissions annually in Romania through clean energy.

YEO Teknoloji announced the commissioning of the Bobiceşti solar power plant in Romania, in which its subsidiary DEFIC Globe is the 100 per cent investor. With this investment, clean energy in Romania will prevent approximately 13,000 tonnes of carbon emissions annually.
With the commissioning of its third plant in Romania, YEO Teknoloji's total installed capacity of plants under construction and development reached 893 MWp.
YEO Teknoloji, a global investor in renewable energy, continues to support Europe's clean energy transition through its subsidiary DEFIC Globe. YEO Teknoloji, as a 51 per cent partner of DEFIC Globe, officially commissioned the Bobiceşti Solar Power Plant, implemented in the Oltenia region of Romania with 100 per cent investment from DEFIC Globe.
Entirely domestic engineering
The plant with a total installed capacity of 21.35 MWp, with all engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) processes conducted by YEO Teknoloji, will provide continuous clean energy generation over 30 years and will contribute to preventing approximately 13,000 tonnes of carbon emissions annually. The plant is expected to generate 33.4 GWh of energy annually. With this investment, YEO Teknoloji is strengthening its identity as a global energy investor while expanding its presence in Europe. The Bobiceşti project will contribute to Europe's energy transition through YEO Teknoloji's engineering capabilities and technology-focused approach.
Target to reach 1 GW installed capacity
With the Bobiceşti plant, the number of operating plants in Romania has risen to three, while total installed capacity, including the solar plant in Italy, reached 54 MWp. Together with the operating Bobiceşti plant, the total installed capacity of DEFIC Globe's plants under construction and development in Romania has reached 893 MWp. YEO Teknoloji, which aims to reach 1 GW installed capacity by 2030 in the field of renewable energy, will continue its steps towards becoming a global player with its offices and operational capabilities in different geographies.
