Filiz Öztürk Named Among Globally Inspiring Women Leaders

The 2025 INvolve London Role Model Gala, honouring leaders who promote diversity, equality and inclusion in business, took place on 20 March at Guildhall, one of London's historic venues. The evening brought together senior executives from different sectors, showcasing the achievements of inspiring female leaders on a global scale.

Filiz Öztürk, Board Member of OPET, featured among the event's prominent names, ranking in the top 5 of the "Top 100 Women Executives" list announced during the gala. Öztürk was recognised among the world's most influential female executives under the Heroes Women Role Model List 2025.

The organisation, led by INvolve and developed in collaboration with YouTube, aims to enhance the impact of female leaders working across different sectors in the business world and highlight their success stories.

The "Top 100 Women Executives" list encompasses leaders who have made a difference in diversity, equality and inclusion, and Filiz Öztürk has drawn attention through her work in this field.

A Global Success Story from Turkey
Filiz Öztürk spearheaded a significant transformation in the sector by leading Women Power and Equal Makes a Difference projects implemented in Turkey's fuel retail sector.

In her statement on the matter, Öztürk said:
"Being included in the Heroes Women Role Model List 2025 is a great joy and honour for me. However, the real source of this pride is that thousands of Turkish women's strong and independent stance has become visible on the international stage. I am grateful to everyone who supports our work on gender equality and women's employment as we move forward with the motto 'Profession has no gender'."

Projects Creating Transformation in the Sector
In a statement by INvolve, Filiz Öztürk was highlighted as having taken a pioneering role in gender equality in Turkey's fuel retail sector.

It was noted that under the Women Power Project led by Öztürk, women's employment at fuel stations increased by 164 per cent, while the "Equal Makes a Difference" programme, implemented in partnership with UN Women, expanded inclusive practices across the institution.

The statement also noted that through these efforts, Öztürk has created transformation not only within her own organisation but across the sector, inspiring other brands and generating a "domino effect" on gender equality.
