Schneider Electric becomes Official Energy Technology Partner of McLaren Racing

McLaren Racing and global energy technology leader Schneider Electric announced that Schneider Electric will become the Official Energy Technology Partner of McLaren Racing, including the McLaren Mastercard Formula 1 Team, the Arrow McLaren IndyCar Team, McLaren F1 Academy and the McLaren United Autosports WEC Hypercar Team.
McLaren Racing and global energy technology leader Schneider Electric announced that Schneider Electric will be the Official Energy Technology Partner of McLaren Racing, including the McLaren Mastercard Formula 1 Team, Arrow McLaren IndyCar Team, McLaren F1 Academy, and McLaren United Autosports WEC Hypercar Team.
Schneider and McLaren Racing will jointly develop and deploy energy technologies that enable peak performance in the most demanding environments, from delivering resilient power solutions trackside at racing circuits around the world to the McLaren Technology Centre headquarters in Woking, United Kingdom. At the heart of the partnership lies a shared culture grounded in data intelligence, accelerated innovation and engineering excellence.
Schneider and McLaren Racing will advance their supplier relationship spanning over 20 years by addressing challenging energy issues where performance and uninterrupted operations are essential. This encompasses reducing energy consumption through optimizing existing assets in wind tunnels, manufacturing facilities, IT data centres and other areas with resilient systems, enabling electrification with advanced energy technologies, and leveraging digital twin technology to generate data insights that will enhance efficiency and sustainability.
