LANXESS Raises Prices for Engineering Plastics

Specialty chemicals company LANXESS is raising prices for its engineering plastics brands by EUR 0.25 per kg for Durethan A (polyamide 6.6), EUR 0.15 per kg for Durethan B (polyamide 6) and EUR 0.20 per kg for Pocan (polybutylene terephthalate, compounds), effective immediately. The adjustment stems from significantly rising raw material prices and applies to Europe, Middle East and Africa. To the extent conditions permit, the price increase will also affect existing contracts. Higher adjustments are possible for specialty materials.
