ENKA Open-Air Theatre's July events continue. ENKA Sanat's ENKA Open-Air Theatre, an essential summer venue, continues its event programme with "The Shortest Night of Love" theatrical performance on 26 July and a Birsen Tezer concert on 28 July. The "What We Carry" performance, scheduled for 31 July, brings together two dance companies representing Europe's westernmost and easternmost points. Nilüfer Kent Tiyatrosu's musical play "The Shortest Night of Love," under the General Artistic Direction of Murat Daltaban, will meet theatre lovers at ENKA Open-Air Theatre on 26 July. The performance features Özlem Zeynep Dinsel, Mert Tiryaki and Taha Tegin Özdemir in roles telling the story of Helena, a divorce lawyer who thinks she arrived at life too late, and Bob, who engages in illegal activities, whose paths cross in a bar and ignite a passionate romance between them. The high-quality theatrical production promises audiences an enjoyable intermission to contemplate life's meaning and love. Birsen Tezer, whose magical voice and powerful interpretation place her among Turkey's most notable vocalists, will be a guest at ENKA Open-Air Theatre on 28 July. At the concert, songs from her latest album "Paper Captains," including pieces such as "If I Hide Myself," "The Passage of Time," "Bland," "Woman" and "Paper Captains" that touch our souls, will be performed. Bass guitarist Gürol Ağırbaş, guitarist Emre Tankal, guitarist and vocalist Tunç Öndemir and drummer Derin Bayhan will take the stage. The concert will also feature renowned composer Sabri Tuluğ Tırpan, who has composed works in symphonic, jazz, film and theatre music, as a guest artist. "What We Carry," to be staged on 31 July, brings together two dance companies representing Europe's westernmost and easternmost points: dancers Leyla Postalcıoğlu, Mihran Tomasyan and musician Berke Can Özcan from Bare Feet Company, along with choreographer Francisco Camacho and organizer Eira. Supported by the Portuguese Republic – Ministry of Culture | Directorate-General of Arts, Camões Institute and Embassy of Portugal in Turkey, the performance addresses nomadicism, migrancy and the practice of creating conditions both for survival and for an already accustomed lifestyle model.   Students can purchase event tickets at a special price of TRY 40 for ENKA Sanat's 40th anniversary, aiming to contribute to arts accessibility.
