16 Ready-to-Wear and Textile Companies from the Aegean Region Ranked in TİM's Top 1000 Exporters List
In the Top 1000 Exporters List announced by the Turkish Exporters Assembly (TİM), the apparel and textile sectors showed strong representation with a total of 130 companies. The list included 85 companies from the apparel and garment sector and 45 companies from the textile sector, with these companies together generating a total of $8.3 billion in exports in 2025.
Turkey's apparel and textile sectors demonstrated strong representation on the Top 1000 Exporters List announced by the Turkish Exporters Assembly (TİM), with a combined 130 companies. The list included 85 companies from the apparel and garment sector and 45 from the textile sector, with these sectors contributing a total of USD 8.3 billion to Turkey's economy in 2025.
Sixteen apparel and textile companies from the Aegean Region that made it onto the list once again demonstrated the region's production and export strength through USD 1.87 billion in exports achieved in 2025.
ÜNİTEKS Sector Leader, SUN Tekstil Turkey's Third
ÜNİTEKS Tekstil Gıda Sanayi Dış Ticaret A.Ş., based in Izmir, became Turkey's number one in the apparel and garment sector with USD 247.8 million in exports achieved in 2025. With this, ÜNİTEKS brought the apparel and garment sector championship to Izmir for the first time. The company also rose three positions in the TİM Top 1000 Exporters List overall rankings, placing 114th.
SUN Tekstil Sanayi ve Ticaret A.Ş., another successful representative of the Aegean Region in the apparel sector, ranked third in Turkey with USD 200 million in exports, while rising to 155th place in the overall rankings.
Thus, two of Turkey's top three apparel and garment exporters came from the Aegean Region.

Bağcı: "Apparel Sector Once Again Demonstrated Its Strength"
Çağlar Bağcı, Chair of the Aegean Apparel and Garment Exporters Association, stated that the strong representation of Aegean companies on the TİM Top 1000 Exporters List is an important achievement for the sector, saying:
"We are proud that our apparel exporters from the Aegean are strongly represented on the Top 1000 Exporters List announced by the Turkish Exporters Assembly. Despite the challenges faced in global markets, the success our companies have achieved clearly demonstrates that our sector will continue to maintain its production strength, competitiveness and presence. Our strong representation on the list also increases our hopes for the future."
Bağcı noted that they are focusing on trade fairs and sector trade delegations to regain export growth momentum, adding that they expect the apparel and garment sector to re-enter an upward export trend from the second half of 2026.
