Systemair Turkey, a provider of advanced solutions to Turkey's air conditioning and ventilation sector, has taken an important step on its sustainability journey by offering Environmental Product Declaration certificates (EPD) for all its products through the "EPD Generator" programme it has developed. With this certificate, which internationally registers environmentally conscious and low-carbon production, Systemair Turkey will present the environmental performance of all its products in a transparent manner while strengthening its efforts to combat climate change.

Systemair Turkey, continuing its mission to provide fresh air to living spaces with its innovative approach and deep-rooted experience, is continuing to take pioneering steps in its field in line with its sustainability vision. Within this scope, with the "EPD Generator" programme it has developed, Systemair Turkey has begun issuing Environmental Product Declaration certificates (EPD) by establishing the methods and criteria required for evaluating the environmental impacts of its products according to international standards. Through the EPD, which encourages market-driven continuous environmental improvement potential, the brand demonstrates that it performs carbon footprint calculations in its production within the framework of quality standards and will continue to develop affordable environmentally friendly products that meet consumer demands.

Every product's lifecycle is evaluated with EPD Generator

As a brand that in all circumstances takes environmental sensitivity into account, Ayşegül Eroğlu, Assistant General Manager at Systemair Turkey, stating that they have been working for a long time on digital and cost-effective solutions to make EPD certificate declarations, said: "Thanks to our key production facilities and the shared tools and procedures we use, we are able to provide EPDs tailored to our customers' requirements. In parallel, we are also conducting work towards rational and harmonised product category rules for ventilation equipment. Before the EPD Generator programme, companies focused on being able to prepare the EPD of a single product. EPD Generator enables us to perform unlimited Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) calculations for every product category and create EPDs in every sector. The software programme also allows us to create customer-specific EPDs and TM65-compliant calculations. This provides a comprehensive and flexible solution for assessing and reporting the environmental impacts of products."
