Polisan Holding Ranks 6th Among 517 Companies in ESG Assessment

Polisan Holding has been included in the BIST Sustainability Index for the 9th consecutive time, while rising to 6th place among 517 companies assessed in the chemical sector in the Refinitiv ESG evaluation with a score of 86.

Polisan Holding has been included in the BIST Sustainability Index for the ninth consecutive year, while advancing to 6th place among 517 companies in the chemicals sector according to Refinitiv ESG assessment with a score of 86 points.

Polisan Holding, which has consistently maintained its work in the area of corporate sustainability, achieved a significant milestone by being included in the BIST Sustainability Index for the ninth time. The holding also scored 86 points in Refinitiv's Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) assessment, placing it 6th among 517 companies analyzed in the chemicals sector.

Polisan Holding, which has been included in the BIST Sustainability Index created by Borsa Istanbul since 2017, is evaluated based on the policies, practices and performance results it demonstrates in environmental, social and governance areas. The assessment considers emission management, resource use and innovation in the environmental dimension; human rights, product responsibility and employee policies in the social dimension; and management structure and corporate social responsibility strategies in the governance dimension.

28 percent reduction in carbon emissions
Polisan Holding, which places sustainability at the center of its business processes, aims to create long-term value through work it carries out in areas such as energy efficiency, low carbon targets, zero waste approach and renewable energy use.

Between 2019 and 2024, the holding achieved a significant progress in combating climate change by reducing absolute carbon emissions by 28 percent. In 2025, it maintained a "B" rating in the CDP Climate Change Program, demonstrating performance above sector average.

The company was also recognized with the "Low Carbon Hero Award" given by the Sustainable Production and Consumption Association and the "Sustainable Future Award" given by the Turkey Quality Association.

Esra Yazıcı, Executive Board Member of Polisan Holding, made the following statement regarding the sustainability work:
