Legrand Türkiye Group is progressing with measurable targets in the areas of climate, circular economy, equal opportunity, employee development and responsible business conduct within the scope of its 2025–2027 Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Roadmap. The Group carries out work across a wide range of areas, from reducing environmental impact through energy efficiency solutions to sustainable material use, and from the participation of women and young people in technical fields to a responsible supply chain approach.
Legrand Türkiye Group, which develops products and systems for buildings, electrical and digital infrastructures, does not limit its sustainability approach solely to reducing environmental impacts, but addresses it together with social, economic and governance dimensions. The 6th CSR Roadmap, prepared in line with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals and covering the 2025–2027 period, focuses on five key action areas: diversity and inclusion, climate, circular economy, creating value for customers, and responsible business.
Having positioned sustainability at the center of its corporate strategy for nearly 20 years, Legrand also prioritizes topics such as employee development, equal opportunity, preparing young people for business life, human rights and responsible business conduct in the supply chain, alongside its environmental performance.
Sustainability Roadmap Shaped with Stakeholder Participation
The views of employees and stakeholders are utilized in the preparation of Legrand Türkiye Group's three-year CSR roadmaps. Through importance and prioritization surveys, the expectations of different stakeholders are assessed and incorporated into the roadmap. This approach ensures that sustainability targets are fed not only by priorities within the company but also by the expectations and needs of different stakeholders.
In the 2025–2027 period, the focus of efforts to reduce environmental impact is on combating climate change and the circular economy. Reducing emissions, expanding eco-design criteria and increasing the use of sustainable materials are among the key targets of this period.
Energy Efficiency and Circular Economy Among Priority Areas
Legrand Türkiye Group does not consider environmental sustainability to be an issue limited to its own operations. Through energy efficiency solutions, it aims to contribute to its customers' reduction of energy consumption and the related emissions.
Among the Group's targets is contributing to the prevention of 20 million tons of carbon dioxide emissions within three years through energy efficiency solutions. Legrand also maintains its commitment to becoming Net Zero by 2050 in line with its long-term climate strategy.
Within the scope of its circular economy approach, the aim is to take environmental impacts into account from the product design stage onward, to expand eco-design criteria and to increase the use of sustainable materials. In this way, environmental performance is addressed with an approach covering different stages of the product life cycle.
Participation of Women and Young People in Technical Fields Is Supported
Equal opportunity holds an important place in the social dimension of Legrand Türkiye Group's CSR efforts. The ellegrand (Women at Legrand) project, which has been ongoing since 2018, aims to increase girls' interest in technical fields and strengthen the representation of women in technical professions.
Sustained through educational scholarships, technical equipment support, school visits and mentoring activities, the project continues with practices that support women's career development at different stages.
Legrand Türkiye Group's efforts in the field of gender equality have also been registered with the European and International Gender Equality and Diversity Certification (GEEIS), created by Arborus and audited by Bureau Veritas Certification. Legrand Türkiye Group stands out as the first manufacturing company in Türkiye to obtain this certification.
Through initiatives such as the Young Council and the Manager Candidate Program (YAP) aimed at the development of young people, young people are supported in getting to know the business world, sharing their ideas and developing their competencies. Within the scope of the 2025–2027 CSR Roadmap, the goal is to increase the representation of women in management positions and to offer new development opportunities every year to individuals at the beginning of their careers.
Responsible Manufacturing Approach Also Covers the Supply Chain
Legrand Türkiye Group aims to apply its sustainability approach across the entire value chain, from employees to suppliers. Employee skill development, occupational health and safety, business ethics and compliance, human rights and supplier relations are considered among the fundamental elements of responsible business conduct.
The Group aims to provide training to 90% of employees every year by 2027 and to reach a target of 10 hours of training per employee annually. In supplier relations, priority is given to observing human rights standards and strengthening the responsible supply chain approach.
This approach aims to ensure that the sustainable production philosophy is supported not only by practices at manufacturing facilities but also by relationships established with business partners across the value chain.
In the Top 1% in EcoVadis Assessment
Legrand's performance in the field of sustainability has also been reflected in the assessment conducted by the international sustainability rating organization EcoVadis.

“We Address Sustainability Across Our Entire Value Chain”
Legrand Türkiye Group CMO Gül Sevinç Selçuk made the following remarks in her assessment of the Group's sustainability approach:
“As Legrand Türkiye Group, we address our principle of 'Improving Lives' with a holistic approach spanning from our products and solutions to our work culture, from our relationships with stakeholders to our social and environmental impact. We do not see sustainability merely as the reduction of environmental impacts; we evaluate it together with equal opportunity, the development of young people, enhancing our employees' competencies, a responsible supply chain, and the value we create for our customers.
While reducing our environmental impact through our efforts in energy efficiency and the circular economy, we also continue our projects supporting greater participation of women and young people in technical fields. In line with our measurable targets for the coming period, we will continue to develop our efforts and create long-term and lasting value for our employees, business partners, customers, society and the environment.”
