Akfen Holding reinforced its leadership in sustainability with its 2024 Sustainability Report, which demonstrates its holistic approach to environmental, social and governance (ESG) areas. Prepared in alignment with international standards, the report underscores once again that sustainability is not merely a reporting subject for Akfen Holding, but one of the fundamental pillars of corporate governance.

Positioning contribution to Turkey's sustainable development and long-term value creation as strategic priorities, Akfen Holding shared its environmental performance, social impact areas and governance practices in the 2024 Sustainability Report through measurable, transparent and comparable indicators.

Reporting in Alignment with International Standards
Akfen Holding's 2024 Sustainability Report was prepared in accordance with the United Nations Global Compact (UNGC), Women's Empowerment Principles (WEPs) and the World Economic Forum (WEF) Stakeholder Capitalism Metrics. In this context, the report reflects an advanced level of sustainability reporting maturity accessible to only a limited number of institutions in Turkey.

Concrete and Measurable Achievements in Environmental Performance
Akfen Holding achieved a "B-" rating in the CDP Water Security Program, in which it participated for the first time in 2024, and a "B" (Management Level) rating in the CDP Climate Change assessment, demonstrating a structure that effectively manages environmental risks and converts them into opportunities.

During the same year, environmental investments exceeding TRY 43 million were made across the group, while Akfen Renewable Energy implemented capacity increases in hybrid solar and wind power plants with approximately TRY 1.98 billion in investment. These investments represented important steps in support of the Holding's low-carbon growth and energy transition objectives.

Strong Governance, Inclusive Management Approach
Akfen Holding structured sustainability management under the headings "Responsible, Goal-Oriented, Considerate and Impactful," transforming its ESG approach into a management model that extends from senior management to the entire organization.
As of 2024, achieving 33 percent female representation on the Board of Directors emerged as a concrete indicator of the company's approach to inclusivity and equality.
