Sultani seedless grapes strengthen immune system
Stating that Anatolia is the homeland of Sultani seedless grapes, Deputy Chairman of the Aegean Exporters Unions Coordinator and Chairman of the Aegean Fresh Fruit and Vegetable Exporters Association Hayrettin Uçak shared that Sultani seedless fresh grapes strengthen the immune system thanks to their high vitamin C and K content, benefit skin health, and contribute positively to heart and vascular health through their vitamin K content.
Adults should consume 200 grams daily, children 100 grams of fresh grapes
Uçak, who recommended daily consumption of 200 grams for adults and 100 grams for children, stated: "Grape seed contains powerful antioxidants and is used in cosmetic products for its skin anti-aging effects. Polyphenols in grapes enhance memory and protect brain cells. They particularly improve mental performance in children. On the other hand, Sultani seedless fresh grapes are a truly accessible product. They are priced at a level that citizens at all income levels can easily afford."
Chairman Uçak, sharing that Turkey exported 35,000 tonnes of table Sultani seedless grapes in 2024 and earned 81 million dollars in foreign currency, concluded his remarks as follows: "In 2024, our total fresh table grape exports amounted to 134 million dollars. Sultani seedless grapes captured 60 percent of the total. Despite the cold and frost events experienced in March and April this year, we have a quality harvest for export. In 2025, we believe we will match and exceed last year's volume. I wish our producers, traders, and exporters a prosperous season."
