Besler Continues Sustainable Growth in First Half of 2025

Besler, one of the leading companies in the food industry, posted consolidated revenue of TRY 13.8 billion in the first half of 2025. Generating export revenue of TRY 1.3 billion in the same period, Besler maintained its sector leadership with a 38% market share in the retail channel for frozen food under the SuperFresh brand, and a 68% market share in the retail channel for margarine, led by brands such as Bizim Yağ, Terem Yağ and Luna.
Besler, one of the leading companies in the food sector, achieved consolidated revenue of TRY 13.8 billion in the first half of 2025. With export revenue of TRY 1.3 billion in the same period, Besler maintained its sector leadership with a 38% market share in the retail channel for frozen food under its SuperFresh brand, and a 68% market share in the margarine market in the retail channel with its leading brands including Bizim Yağ, Terem Yağ and Luna.
Besler, which reaches approximately 19.8 million households through 62 million plates with its leading brands in the frozen food, canned food, culinary and oil categories, translates the success it has achieved through innovation, affordable pricing and effective communication strategies into its financial performance. With its strong brands, production capacity and export network, Besler maintained its leadership in the food sector in the first half of 2025.
According to the first-half 2025 financial results shared via the Public Disclosure Platform (KAP); Besler's first-half revenue reached TRY 13.8 billion. With a 7.3% increase, the company raised its gross profit to TRY 3.4 billion and achieved TRY 1.7 billion EBITDA in the first half of 2025. Besler increased its EBITDA margin to 12.4% with a 2.4 percentage point increase compared to the same period of the previous year, and its export revenue reached TRY 1.3 billion.
Sector leadership continues to strengthen
Besler maintained its leading position in the sector with approximately 1,500 products and 57 brands across 16 total categories. SuperFresh, the leading frozen food brand, continued its leadership with a 38% share in the retail channel. During the six-month period of this year, SuperFresh conducted 20 product launches and relaunches, with new products accounting for 18% of revenue. Increasing the number of households where its products are consumed compared to the previous year, it reached 1.5 million new households. SuperFresh, Turkey's most-loved frozen food brand, completed the first half of the year with 12 prestigious awards through its leading sustainability and brand communication efforts in the sector.
In the margarine sector, Besler's leadership was driven by the Bizim Yağ, Teremyağ and Luna brands with a 68% retail channel revenue market share. As Turkey's Oil, Bizim Yağ celebrates its 30th anniversary by bringing not only flavour to tables but also quality, innovation and confidence to the future; Teremyağ became the most-growing brand in the category as the brand entering the most households in the market and having the highest brand desire score. Thanks to successful communication efforts of the main brands in the oil business unit, 6 prestigious awards were won in the first half of the year.
Frozen Bakery Products (DFU), positioned as the sector's strongest company with a broad product portfolio of over 200 products across 6 categories, maintained its sustainable success with particularly innovative products targeting the summer season.
