Bayer Meets More Than 1,000 Corn Growers at Agro Arena Event

Bayer-DEKALB corn solution package applications: Bayer Crop Science brought together more than 1,000 producers at the "Agro Arena Corn" event held in Adana, providing them the opportunity to see and experience the advantages offered to corn growers under field conditions.

During the two-day event, the Bayer Crop Science team shared with producers DEKALB's broad portfolio of quality and high-yielding corn varieties for both grain and silage, Bayer's innovative crop protection products, digital agriculture solutions, and all key points to consider in corn cultivation.

Producers who were able to see DEKALB corn varieties under field conditions and had the opportunity to get acquainted with Bayer's corn crop protection solutions such as Adengo, Laudis and Capreno toured the trial stations and obtained detailed information from field experts, particularly about applying the right solution at the right time. Producers also experienced FieldView Plus, which supports maximum yield from each unit area through features such as end-of-season yield analysis, regional reports and customized planting prescriptions.

Preceon Smart Corn System introduced
Within the scope of the event, the Preceon smart corn system, which aims to increase yield and quality in corn cultivation, was also presented. Based on short-stature new corn hybrids, the system offers high planting density, high yield potential, lodging resistance, prolonged green period, and the ability to produce silage with high quality values. In initial trials, Preceon was observed to increase daily milk production per cow by up to 2 liters per day compared to conventional tall corn, and if these results are validated on a broader scale, it could add direct value to both farmers and dairy producers. Working in integration with FieldView digital applications, the system optimizes planting density and positioning planning. As of 2025, Preceon is being applied on over 100,000 hectares, and commercial trials in Turkey are ongoing.

At the event, producers who are members of the 4 Seasons mobile application found answers to questions such as "How is plant protection provided?", "When is agricultural spraying applied?", "How are diseases, pests and weeds controlled?" and obtained detailed information on how to earn points from the Bayer crop protection products they use through the Winners Club Loyalty Program.
