AeroCore Expands Engine Foam Wash Portfolio with LEAP-1B

AeroCore Technologies announced the addition of the CFM LEAP-1B platform to its engine foam wash portfolio. This development marks an important step in expanding support for next-generation commercial aircraft. The program is already being actively carried out with a leading US airline, and the early engine performance data obtained looks quite promising.

AeroCore Technologies announced the addition of the CFM LEAP-1B platform to its engine foam wash portfolio. This development marks an important step in expanding support for next-generation commercial aircraft. The program is currently being actively conducted with a leading US airline, and early engine performance data obtained appears quite promising.

Known for its advanced design and fuel efficiency, the LEAP-1B engine benefits significantly from regular blade cleaning to maintain optimal performance. AeroCore's patented technology provides the comprehensive wash that the LEAP engine requires, enabling much higher performance recovery compared to conventional methods. With the addition of the LEAP-1B, AeroCore now supports more than 20 engine types in commercial and military fleets.

AeroCore Technology Director Jorge Saenz commented on the matter as follows:
"Our unique ability to safely integrate and qualify new engines reinforces our commitment to delivering excellence and customer results rapidly."

AeroCore's innovative approach to engine cleaning delivers immediate and lasting results. By reducing engine temperatures, recovering fuel economy, and lowering CO₂ emissions, environmentally friendly foam wash provides superior performance recovery compared to conventional water or detergent-based methods.

The non-invasive foam wash method, independent of engine type, effectively cleans all engine gas paths without requiring disassembly, complex installations, or pulling the aircraft to a designated wash bay. AeroCore's service is applied gate-side at the aircraft and allows all engines to be cleaned simultaneously through complete capture of engine wash wastewater. The entire process is completed in approximately 1 hour.

AeroCore Technologies CEO Kevin Bourke made the following statement:
"This marks a strategic step forward for AeroCore. We are proud to add the LEAP engine to our capabilities. This is a meaningful milestone in our mission to restore the world's most critical assets."
