Alışan Receives Zero Waste Award

Alışan Lojistik, which continues to participate in environment-friendly projects with the aim of reducing carbon emissions by 50 percent by 2030, won the Zero Waste Award for its work on raising awareness of zero-waste consciousness at the "Environment and People" conference held in cooperation with Güzeller OSB and Çevreci Çocuk Eğitim Yayınları.

Alışan Lojistik, which stated in its sustainability report published in 2023 that it aims to reduce carbon emissions by 50 percent by 2030, continues to participate in many projects toward this goal. Most recently, with its support for the "Green Businesses Hand in Hand with Children" project, which is one stage of the efforts pursued by Çevreci Çocuk Eğitim Yayınları with the motto "Cleanliness begins with not polluting; and not polluting is possible with consciousness. This consciousness is provided through the education of our children, who are the guarantee of our future," Alışan Lojistik took its place among the enterprises deemed worthy of the Zero Waste Award at Gebze Güzeller OSB.

Within the scope of the "Green Businesses Hand in Hand with Children" project, the "Çeço Green Child Education Set," which has been distributed by Çevreci Çocuk Eğitim Yayınları to 3.5 million children across Turkey over 14 years, supports raising awareness on zero waste, nature and environmental consciousness, and while aiming for children to grow with nature conservation awareness, it also supports the goal of leaving a cleaner and more sustainable world for the future.

Alışan Lojistik, which joined the project in 2024, received the award at the Zero Waste Award Ceremony held at the "Environment and People" conference at Güzeller OSB last week, which was attended by Gebze Kaymakam Mehmet Ali Yiğit, Gebze Güzeller OSB Board Chairman Adem Ceylan and Regional Director Tufan Saat. The company was recognized for both its support for the aforementioned project and all the projects it has carried out to date to promote zero-waste consciousness.
