Anadolu Grubu Chief Executive Officer Burak Başarır commented on the results, stating: "The first quarter of 2025 was a period in which developments that clouded the future of global trade came to the forefront, with continuing geopolitical tensions and macroeconomic challenges continuing to have an impact. In the first quarter, we observed the effect of declining consumer purchasing power on the sectors in which we operate. Within these challenging conditions, Anadolu Grubu, thanks to our proactive management approach, our close relationship with our consumers and our balanced portfolio structure, started 2025 with revenue and EBITDA growth."

"We are maintaining our 2025 outlook in the same manner"
Burak Başarır said that they maintained a cautious outlook for the remainder of the year due to continuing fluctuations and uncertainties in the markets in which they operate, as well as continued weakness in consumer confidence. Başarır stated: "However, we have confidence in the progress we have made to create sustainable value in the long term, and we are maintaining the 2025 outlook we shared at the beginning of the year in the same manner. In 2025, as the leadership team of Anadolu Grubu, our most important focus areas will continue to be maintaining our close relationship with our customers and consumers, correct pricing to maintain affordability in our markets, operational efficiency through effective product mix management, effective cost management, effective and disciplined financial management, digitalization and sustainability efforts. Thanks to our strong financial structure and long-term strategies, we continue our determination to turn risks into opportunities. Our goal is to continue our sustainable growth without compromising our principles of responsible management, creating value for all our stakeholders."

Beverage Group demonstrated strong volume performance across all markets
Anadolu Grubu achieved strong volume performance across all markets in the first quarter, despite continuing challenges in countries where the Beverage Group operates. Burak Başarır stated: "By focusing on affordability, we accelerated our marketing activities ahead of the Ramadan period. With the contribution of our continuing quality product mix strategy, we successfully continued our operations. For the remainder of the year, we expect our cost base to be gradually balanced as revenue growth accelerates, and we are maintaining our 2025 outlook shared at the beginning of the year in the same manner."

Developments relating to beer operations in Russia are being monitored
In the first quarter, the Beer Group's consolidated volume showed a slight decline compared to the first quarter of 2024, which was a strong base. Noting that Russia operations have begun to be classified under 'Financial Investments' on the balance sheet as of this period, Burak Başarır stated: "It will be followed in this manner until the current situation becomes clear. We continue to closely monitor developments relating to our beer operations in Russia. Throughout 2025, we will continue to strengthen our popular and premium segment brands, opening up to new geographies and product categories with the aim of achieving market share growth across all our operations."

Migros continued to grow in the first quarter
Migros Group continued its revenue growth and market share gains in the first quarter of 2025. Pointing out that profitability was achieved at reasonable levels in the first quarter of the year despite rising labor costs, Burak Başarır stated: "We expect the impact of labor cost increases, as in the previous year, to show a downward trend in the second half of the year. Our expectations for 2025 remain valid."

Noting that Çelik Motor within the Automotive Group achieved strong revenue growth by increasing its market share in the passenger vehicle segment, Burak Başarır stated: "However, across the automotive group in general, we are observing the effects of the highly competitive environment in the sector on our profitability. As a result of our priorities such as successful operational performance, solid balance sheet structure, proactive risk and working capital management, generating positive free cash flow, valuation of idle assets and reducing foreign exchange exposure positions, our consolidated Net Debt/EBITDA ratio, despite challenging macroeconomic conditions, tracked parallel to the same period of the previous year at 1.6x."
