Turkey's new satellite TÜRKSAT 5A was successfully launched from Cape Canaveral Base in Florida, USA at 05.15 Turkey time. Turkey's fifth-generation satellite TÜRKSAT 5A was sent into space with the Falcon 9 rocket belonging to Space X. The satellite launch, which was planned to take place at 04.28 Turkey time, was postponed by approximately one hour due to weather conditions and took place at 05.15 Turkey time."First signal received after the 35th minute"
Minister of Transport and Infrastructure Adil Karaismailoğlu spoke at a meeting held at Türksat AŞ's Gölbaşı Campus. Karaismailoğlu stated that the result of years of work was achieved today with the successful launch of the satellite, expressing that they were both happy and proud. Explaining that the satellite began moving towards its orbit, Karaismailoğlu said, "We received the first signal from our TÜRKSAT 5A satellite after the 35th minute. Our satellite is continuing its journey. This journey will last four months.
