Definitive Sealing with TPE

Timolino uses thermoplastic elastomer from KRAIBURG TPE to render its versatile OMNI drinking bottles and CRUISE beverage cups absolutely leak-proof and adds food-grade elasticity that fully complies with FDA regulations and EU regulation (10/2011). Timolino's reusable OMNI ° LINE and CRUISE ° LINE products offer stainless steel, plastic or silicate glass variants for cold, hot and carbonated beverages. As a result of a specialized THERMOLAST® K developed by KRAIBURG TPE for contact with food and beverages, all caps possess absolutely leak-proof sealing properties. The TPE compound is used as a sealing ring in the caps of beverage systems or as part of a pre-formed pressed gasket block. As with all components of Timolino products, the sealing components are 100 percent neutral in taste and odor, contain no bisphenol A (BPA), are dishwasher-safe and recyclable. The application includes a technologically advanced sealing component that provides guaranteed compatibility with food substances. The TPE compound used by the company meets the mandatory requirements of U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) Federal Regulation No. 21 (CFR21) and EU regulation 10/2011 for plastic materials and articles made from plastic. Additionally, the material exhibits pronounced compression properties across a wide temperature range. This property is decisive for permanent elasticity and flexibility without brittleness even after renewed contact with hot beverages, when washed at high temperatures in the dishwasher, or when stored cold in the refrigerator.
