Pierre Fabre İlaç Türkiye Holds Regional Meeting in France

Pierre Fabre Pharmaceuticals Turkey, one of Turkey's leading pharmaceutical companies, held its periodic meeting from 24-27 January at the Pierre Fabre Center in Toulouse, France. The periodic meeting, described as a journey to Pierre Fabre's roots, brought together the 80-person Turkey team to review sector analyses and develop sales and marketing plans. Speaking at the opening, Pierre Fabre Pharmaceuticals Turkey General Director Dr. Hande Demirdere shared with her team the company's achievement of becoming the third fastest-growing country in the world, despite 2017 being a year of transformation and adaptation. During the meeting, each management team member shared messages about 2017 successes and 2018 priorities, emphasizing Pierre Fabre values that guided the change process and confirming that all teams continue to grow with steady steps in line with these values. At the gala evening, the 'Golden Violet Awards Ceremony' presented Sales and Performance awards. In addition to the awards ceremony, teams showcased regional performances they had prepared. Pierre Fabre Pharmaceuticals Director Frederic Duchesne and senior executives from France attended and appreciated the regional performances presented by the teams. The meeting continued with teams presenting their 2018 targets, strategy and examples of patient-focused approaches. During the periodic meeting, which also included visits to Pierre Fabre's headquarters, the Pierre Fabre Pharmaceuticals Turkey Team received information about the production processes of products sold in the Turkish pharmaceutical market at the Pierre Fabre production facilities in Gaillac. The Turkey team also visited the Pierre Fabre Foundation and received information about the foundation's activities. The Pierre Fabre Foundation, established to serve people without access to healthcare services around the world, actively manages 23 separate projects addressing issues such as albinism and sickle cell anemia in African countries. Having in a sense journeyed to Pierre Fabre's roots and observed firsthand the story of how a young visionary transformed a small pharmacy in Tarn into a global pharmaceutical foundation company operating in 130 different countries with 13,000 employees, the Pierre Fabre Pharmaceuticals team completed the four-day meeting by visiting the foundation building in Lavour, the home of Mr. Pierre Fabre.
