Sanovel's Meaningful Message to Women: "You Are Valuable"

Sanovel, one of the leading companies in the Turkish pharmaceutical sector, hosted a special event themed "You Are Worthy." The speakers at the event, organized on the occasion of 8 March International Women's Day, were Dr. Zerrin Başer, CEO of Balance Center Consulting and Board Member of Erickson Coaching International, and Sanovel's influential female leaders.

Sanovel, which has guided health in the Turkish pharmaceutical industry for 42 years, inspires the sector through its people-focused practices. By championing programs that prioritize employee engagement and well-being and strengthening its perception as a socially responsible company, Sanovel this time brought together its employees on the occasion of 8 March International Women's Day. Throughout the event, which highlighted women's roles in society and the business world and was organized under the theme "You Are Worthy," inspiring speeches and heartfelt sharing took place within the scope of compassion and self-worth awareness.

At the event hosting the Sanovel Women Leaders Panel, Dr. Zerrin Başer, CEO of Balance Center Consulting and Board Member of Erickson Coaching International, addressed the concepts of compassion, self-compassion and self-worth and their importance in women's lives, while Sanovel CEO Hülya Yalın, Quality Director Burcu Polat and Director of Human Resources and Corporate Communications Derya Oral made important contributions regarding women's presence in social and economic life. Following the panel, moderator Asuman Krause held a candid conversation on gender equality and women's roles. The event concluded with the rhythms of percussionist Ceren Özdemir, and participants enjoyed being together.

"Courage creates strong leaders"
Dr. Zerrin Başer emphasized the importance of women building positive relationships with themselves and provided examples from lived experiences. Sanovel CEO Hülya Yalın drew attention to the importance of courage by saying, "Not fearing mistakes allows us to take right and strong steps, and this supports all of us in becoming strong leaders," and shared the secrets of successful leadership. Sanovel Quality Director Burcu Polat expressed the leadership approach at Sanovel as follows: "Traditional leadership models are being replaced by empathetic, sensitive and vulnerable leadership understanding. Vulnerable leaders are those who display their weaknesses and human sides and support their employees. Derya Oral: Empathy is at the foundation of our leadership competencies
Sanovel Director of Human Resources and Corporate Communications Derya Oral, who conveyed important messages within the scope of the panel, emphasized the concepts of empathy, inclusivity and compassion in the organization and conveyed the following messages: "Today, it can be an opportunity to remember compassion with awareness, self-worth and self-compassion and to reflect these values to both ourselves and our team members in a more inclusive and empathetic way. When designing our behavior model at Sanovel, we particularly positioned empathy at the foundation of leadership competencies. We are one of the first companies to include empathy in the competency set. There are many different ways to achieve business success, and with our determination, commitment and perseverance, we overcome obstacles on the way and reach the result. What is critical here is to proceed while doing this without harm, if possible with empathy, tolerance, grace and courtesy. This is one of our behavioral priorities."
