Mas Grup Launches Education Platform Mas Academy

Mas Grup, Turkey's leading brand in pumps and pressurization systems, has launched a new training platform. Mas Academy has begun operations with the aim of offering training programs on pumps and pressurization systems to all stakeholders in the plumbing sector—from technical college and university students to engineers seeking careers in the industry, to practitioners and operators in companies, to sales professionals working at dealerships, and to technical service teams conducting repairs and maintenance of systems. The training programs at Mas Academy, headed by Prof. Dr. Mete Şen, are organized under five main modules. The first of these modules is the Mas Grup Introduction module, which includes a Factory Tour aimed at introducing the Mas Grup Düzce Production Center and providing detailed information on modern production processes. The second is the Theory module, containing detailed information on pump theory and design. The third is the Application module, featuring training programs on various pump types and application areas. The fourth is the Personal Development module, designed particularly to contribute to the professional development of engineers seeking careers in the sector and including training topics such as Sales Techniques, Time Management, and Leadership. The fifth and final module is the Mas Tech module, tailored to technical staff working at authorized technical services and engineers and technicians employed in facility operations units, covering pump repair, maintenance, and operation topics. Ahmet Yılmaz, Business Development Manager at Mas Grup and Manager of Mas Academy, provided the following information about this new training platform. "Before designing Mas Academy, we examined the academies of companies in both our own sector and other sectors in detail to identify successful examples. We thought about how to do even better than these successful practices, and Mas Academy emerged. With the very valuable contributions of our mentor Prof. Dr. Mete Şen, we have created training modules and programs that are highly satisfactory from an academic perspective. We bring together and harmonize the training modules and subjects within Mas Academy by taking into account the profile and expectations of the people who will participate in the training. As a result, each time we produce a completely tailored training program that meets expectations. Furthermore, we place great importance on the training of Mas Academy instructors, who are primarily composed of knowledgeable and experienced employees of Mas Grup in their respective fields.
