Henkel Continues Investment in Turkey; New Factory Foundation Laid
Viewing Turkey not only as a valuable market for its products but also as an important production center, Henkel laid the foundation for a new production facility to be established in Kocaeli Gebze with a ceremony held on 9 November 2016. Henkel, a long-term investor contributing through its investments in Turkey, laid the foundations of the new production facility with a ceremony. The ceremony was attended by Kocaeli Governor Hasan Basri Güzeloğlu, Türk Henkel Board of Directors Chairman Hasan Alemdar, Henkel Turkey Adhesive Technologies President İsmail Akkoçoğlu and Türk Henkel Adhesive Technologies Operations and Projects Director Mehmet Yılmaz, as well as government officials, customers, prominent representatives of industry and numerous members of the press. Türk Henkel Board of Directors Chairman Hasan Alemdar, in his remarks, stated that for Henkel, Turkey is not just a sales market but also an important production center.
