FANUC, a Japanese manufacturer of CNC machines, robots and equipment, has launched Europe's second repair centre in Turkey following Luxembourg. The FANUC Turkey Repair Centre, designed with cutting-edge technology, has commenced operations. Located within the FANUC Turkey Istanbul headquarters building across approximately 500 square metres, the FANUC Turkey Repair Centre was established following the exact concept of the European Central Repair Centre and has the capacity to repair diverse product ranges. In its initial phase, the centre will repair FANUC Alpha, Alpha-i, Beta-i servo motors and drives, as well as FANUC robot teach pendants. FANUC PCBs (motherboards, driver cards, I/O cards) will also be repairable at the facility. FANUC Turkey General Manager Teoman Alper Yiğit commented on the centre, which was established with a substantial investment budget. Yiğit noted that this investment demonstrates FANUC's significant commitment to Turkey.
Yiğit emphasised that the core objective of the FANUC Turkey Repair Centre is to deliver repair services in line with FANUC product and service quality standards to its customers.
FANUC Turkey General Manager Teoman Alper Yiğit stated, "As FANUC Turkey, we aim to address the 360-degree needs of FANUC users by adding repair services to the after-sales services (service, maintenance, training, retrofit) we provide to our customers. By replacing unprofessional solutions that cause FANUC users time and cost losses with highly professional, fast and economical repair services of FANUC quality, minimising production losses is among our other objectives. We aim to increase customer satisfaction by offering FANUC users a 1-year warranty on repairs carried out with original spare parts and consumables manufactured by FANUC and test equipment produced by FANUC." Yiğit stated that in addition to repair services required by FANUC users, the root causes of any product faults would be investigated in pre-repair analyses and presented in reports. Noting that technical analyses following repairs would also be reported and presented to users, Yiğit informed that data would be archived at the repair centre through this working principle. Yiğit said, "Particularly in motor repair operations, we will offer a concept of product renewal rather than repair. We are talking about an overhaul so complete that when placed alongside a brand new motor in its original box, it would be indistinguishable. In this way, we will have brought the motor renewal standard to Turkey instead of motor repair." FANUC Turkey General Manager Teoman Alper Yiğit emphasised that the FANUC Turkey Repair Centre will follow a concept similar to its counterparts in Japan, America and Europe and will bring FANUC service quality to Turkey. Yiğit informed that FANUC Turkey will continue investments to increase the volume and capacity of the repair centre in the new building to which it will relocate in the coming period.
