DYO Provides Paint Support for New Academic Year

DYO provided paint support to schools preparing for the new academic year. Recognizing the decisive role of cleanliness and hygiene in children's health during the Covid-19 pandemic, DYO supported schools in achieving healthy environments. Having provided paint assistance to more than 40 schools during the pandemic period, DYO continues to invest in the future and health. As the Covid-19 pandemic affected the entire world and our country, cleanliness, hygiene and health became the most prominent concepts. While the cleaning of living spaces begins with paint, DYO supported schools preparing for the new period. Viewing the school holiday period as an opportunity and cooperating with school administrations, DYO holds the view that children's health is more important than anything else. Operating on the principle that a good future is directly proportional to children's education, DYO launched work in this area with the aim of protecting children's health from the pandemic and similar diseases and ensuring hygienic conditions. Providing paint assistance to schools that closed due to the pandemic and primarily needed renovation, DYO's goal is to support children in receiving education in healthy and clean spaces when schools reopen. During the pandemic period, DYO painted more than 40 schools.

Adding Color to Students' Lives Through the "Value for Tomorrow" Project

DYO's work for schools is not new. Since 2015, DYO has been carrying out numerous initiatives within the scope of the "Value for Tomorrow" corporate social responsibility umbrella project. Through the "Learning Has Value" project, it has organized training for 45,000 students to date in the areas of color, space, heat and light use. Within the framework of the "Schools Have Value" project, DYO prepared a guide for school painting and paint use standards. By identifying school types in 10 provinces representing Turkey as a whole with different geographic, climate and settlement conditions, school painting and paint use recommendations were developed. With the contribution of the Ministry of National Education, a working group formed through cooperation between Mimar Sinan Fine Arts University and DYO prepared a guide for all schools under the ministry, and example school painting applications were carried out by masters who participated in academic training in accordance with this guide. DYO, which takes societal development into account, participates in many projects with this awareness. It believes in the importance of education in shaping the future and highlights concepts such as maintenance, cleanliness, health and aesthetics in living spaces.
