DTO Chairman Erdoğan Congratulates Exporters

DTO President Congratulates Exporters Denizli Chamber of Commerce (DTO) President Uğur Erdoğan congratulated companies from Denizli that made it onto the Turkish Exporters Assembly (TİM)'s ranking of Turkey's top 1,000 companies. President Erdoğan said, "I congratulate our 32 companies and their employees, who are the pride of Denizli, for making it into this year's ranking, and I wish for their successes to continue and grow." DTO Board Chairman Uğur Erdoğan commended 32 Denizli-based companies that entered TİM's Top 1,000 Exporters Report based on 2021 export figures. President Erdoğan stated, "I congratulate our investors, numbering 32, comprising 13 in textiles, 8 in cables, 4 in metals and steel, 2 in food, 2 in electrical, 1 in mining, and 2 companies that prefer not to be named, for entering the top 1,000 exporters list regularly announced annually by TİM; they have demonstrated Denizli's entrepreneurship and industriousness. These companies of ours, which kept their operations open during the pandemic and maintained uninterrupted exports while increasing their business volume, are heroes of our economy. By making this list, they have shared with Denizli this tremendous honor, which is the reward for their devoted and dedicated work during that period. No amount of congratulation or thanks would be sufficient. I congratulate our companies and their employees, who are the pride of Denizli by entering this ranking, and wish for their successes to continue and increase. There is no stopping, let us continue working, producing, exporting, serving our country, earning and creating earnings."   DTO HISTORY The "Şemsi Terakki Debağat Company," Turkey's first joint-stock company and an important commercial landmark for Denizli, was established in Denizli following the 1924 Izmir Economic Congress. The Denizli Chamber of Commerce was founded in 1926. With the establishment of DTO, existing commercial activities began to be conducted in a more orderly and national manner. As one of Turkey's first established Chambers of Commerce, the Denizli Chamber of Commerce traces its roots to the akhism tradition.
