Çimsa's First-Quarter Revenue Reaches TRY 11.6 Billion

Çimsa, a Sabancı Holding subsidiary, started the first quarter of 2026 with strong financial results. The company's consolidated sales reached TRY 11.6 billion, while EBITDA increased in real terms by 2.7% to TRY 1.5 billion. Net profit rose 56% to TRY 705 million.

Çimsa, which has attracted attention in recent years with global expansion moves and strategic energy investments, continued to increase profitability despite challenging market conditions. A productivity-focused approach and product-geography diversification were among the key factors supporting financial performance, offsetting increases in energy, fuel and freight costs.

Çimsa Board Chairman Umut Zenar stated in his assessment of the company's performance that international investments and trading operations made positive contributions to sales volume. Zenar expressed that the increases recorded in both EBITDA and net profit despite mounting cost pressures were the result of the company's sustainable profitability strategy.

Addressing measures taken against energy cost fluctuations, Zenar emphasized that the use of alternative fuels was increased at facilities in Turkey, Spain and Ireland, and that cost risks were minimized through waste heat and solar energy investments. He also noted that the impact of cost increases was limited through long-term fuel, electricity and freight agreements.

Çimsa's strong balance sheet structure and operationally efficiency-focused strategy continue to expand the company's room for maneuver for new investments in the coming period.
