Amgen Turkey and Gensenta Run for Children's Wishes

As part of their "Corporate Citizenship" initiatives, Amgen Turkey and Gensenta, which participate in many projects with their volunteer employees, this time focused on fulfilling the wishes of children fighting life-threatening illnesses. Amgen Turkey and Gensenta ran for Make-A-Wish Turkey at the 43rd Istanbul Marathon, supporting more children in achieving their dreams with the donations collected.

Biotechnology company Amgen Turkey and Gensenta took action on behalf of children fighting life-threatening illnesses as part of their "Heart-Felt Responsibility" "Corporate Citizenship - Community" initiatives. Amgen Turkey ran for Make-A-Wish Turkey's "Wishes That Connect to Life" program at the N Kolay 43rd Istanbul Marathon held on 7 November 2021, with the goal of fulfilling the wishes of children fighting critical illnesses. As a "Make-A-Wish" runner in the marathon, 8 Amgen and Gensenta employees contributed to the support campaign, which enabled more children to achieve their dreams with the donations collected and can continue the support campaign through the end of November. Amgen Turkey and Gensenta General Manager Güldem Berkman, noting that as Amgen Turkey and Gensenta they participate in many projects together with their employees in line with their values, said, "We set out with Make-A-Wish Turkey to fulfill our children's dreams. Providing them with experiences that will make them happy, boosting their morale and being a source of hope in their recovery process is very important to us." Make-A-Wish Turkey, an organization serving children aged 3-18 fighting life-threatening illnesses, fulfills what children consider impossible dreams and provides them with meaningful and unique experiences. These experiences contribute 72 percent (feedback from doctors) to children's recovery. Experts emphasize that high morale and hope are the greatest support in children's recovery process.
