Akfen GYO Makes TRY 1.39 Billion Strategic Logistics Land Investment

Akfen Gayrimenkul Yatırım Ortaklığı A.Ş. (Akfen GYO) has made a significant investment to strengthen its portfolio in line with rising logistics and warehousing demand. The company announced the purchase of a 141,000 square-metre strategic land parcel in Gebze, Kocaeli, for TRY 1,391 million.

Emerging as one of the largest logistics warehouse-focused land investments in Turkey's real estate sector in recent times, the transaction was completed on the same day in accordance with the Board of Directors decision dated 23 December 2025. The entire purchase price was paid in cash.

Purchase with 17% Discount
The acquired property was valued at TRY 1,671 million in the market value in the valuation report dated 23 December 2025 prepared by Epos Gayrimenkul Danışmanlık ve Değerleme A.Ş. In this context, Akfen GYO realized the said investment at approximately 17% discount.

Strategic Response to Logistics and Warehousing Demand
The investment, implemented in the Gebze region located at the intersection of industrial, logistics and transport axes, is aimed at laying the groundwork for a logistics warehouse development project that offers high standards, scalability and long-term sustainable return potential.

The investment, implemented during a period when demand for logistics warehouses is rising rapidly with the increase in e-commerce volume and diversification of production and supply chain needs, is assessed to be a reference for the sector. With the development of the said land parcel, Akfen GYO aims to generate regular and sustainable rental income and increase portfolio value.

According to the company's assessments, the investment is expected to make significant contributions to Akfen GYO's equity structure and profitability in the medium and long term through asset value appreciation and logistics warehouse rental revenues. All details regarding the investment and the valuation report were shared with the public and investors through the Public Disclosure Platform (KAP).
