At its 41st Edition, Building Fair – Turkeybuild Istanbul is ready to take the pulse of the sector once again on 8-12 May
The Building Fair – Turkeybuild Istanbul, which is the largest building, construction materials and technologies fair in the broad region covering the Balkans, Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) countries, Middle East and North Africa, and one of the 5 largest construction fairs in the world, is preparing to open its doors on 8 May.
For 40 years, the Building Fair – Turkeybuild Istanbul has created added value in Turkey's leading construction sector, offering new business opportunities and enabling sectoral knowledge sharing through increasingly rich content each year, thus making an undeniable contribution to the national economy.
Taking place at the Tüyap Fair and Convention Center, the Building Fair – Turkeybuild Istanbul will run from 8-12 May.
Last year, the Building Fair – Turkeybuild Istanbul welcomed 850 participants from 17 countries and 82,427 visitors; this year it is preparing to bring together over 900 participants across 11 halls and outdoor space with 90,000 visitors.
To increase the number of domestic and international participants, Buyer Delegation Programs are being implemented this year under the coordination of both the Turkish Ministry of Economy and ITE Turkey - YEM Fuarcılık.
Under the Turkish Ministry of Economy and VIP Buyer Delegation Program, more than 100 buyers are expected to meet with participants, while under the ITE Turkey - YEM Fuarcılık VIP Buyer Delegation Program (hosted buyer program), buyers from leading target markets of the Turkish construction sector such as Qatar, Russia, Azerbaijan, Iran, Algeria, Turkmenistan, Iraq, Lebanon, Kazakhstan, Morocco and Uzbekistan are targeted to participate in the fair.
Bilateral business meetings will be organized within all buyer delegation programs to create opportunities for new business ventures and partnerships.
