Anadolu Sigorta disclosed its financial results for the first six months of 2026. Continuing its profitability-focused growth strategy, the company increased premium production by 22% compared to the same period last year, reaching TRY 54.2 billion.
The company's total assets reached TRY 151.3 billion, while the portfolio directed toward investment increased by 13.6% from the beginning of the year to TRY 89 billion.
Net profit increased over 41 percent
Anadolu Sigorta generated TRY 7.4 billion in standalone net profit in the first half of 2026. Thus the company's standalone net profit grew 41.3% compared to the same period last year, while consolidated net profit increased 41.7%, reaching TRY 7.4 billion.
The company's equity rose to TRY 46.1 billion, while average return on equity was realized at 38.4%.
In the second quarter, Anadolu Sigorta generated TRY 3.5 billion in net profit, increasing net profit by 19.2% compared to the same period last year.
Technical profitability improvement continues
In the second quarter of 2026, the company recorded positive developments in technical performance indicators. Loss ratio improved by 4.2 points and combined ratio by 4.4 points compared to the previous quarter.
Highest premium production achieved in health branch
Anadolu Sigorta's highest premium production in the first six months was in the Sickness/Health branch with TRY 14.4 billion.
Health branch was followed respectively by;
-Fire and Natural Disasters with TRY 11.2 billion,
-Motor Vehicles with TRY 10 billion,
-Motor Vehicle Liability with TRY 7.4 billion
branches.
Noteworthy growth rates in premium production by branch
The highest growth rates in the first half of 2026 were;
-Credit branch 166.1%,
-Aircraft branch 62.6%,
-Surety branch 54.3%,
-Sickness/Health branch 42.4%,
-General Damages branch 40.6%
Total non-life premium production increased 21.9% compared to the same period last year, reaching TRY 54.2 billion.
