CHT Turkey Kimya Offers Modern Adhesive Solutions to the Packaging Industry

CHT Group began operations in 1953 in Tübingen Neckar, Germany, with the production of textile auxiliary chemicals. CHT Turkey Kimya, a subsidiary of CHT Group, was established in Istanbul in 1990. Following the interest shown by the Turkish Textile Industry, it achieved rapid growth. With the investment policy we have pursued, the company today operates production, storage, quality control and research and development activities within approximately 20,000 m² of open space and 8,000 m² of enclosed space. In 2007, as CHT Group, we acquired TUT Yapıştırıcı, a company that had been operating in Turkey for over 50 years and specialized in the adhesive sector. With TUT Yapıştırıcı joining CHT Group, emulsion polymer production began within our organization. The combination of TUT Yapıştırıcı's over 50 years of experience and German production technology and standards positioned CHT Turkey Kimya as a major player in domestic and foreign markets. Beyond polymer production, CHT Turkey Kimya produces chemicals used in a wide variety of sectors, including CHT silicone oils, cleaners, protective materials, pet food, construction industry, paper production and textile dyes manufactured in Switzerland under the Bezema brand.

With its broad product portfolio, CHT Turkey Kimya provides customers with different solutions and ease of application in diverse fields. With its expert team, it continues to offer new products and solutions. Today, CHT, its subsidiaries and representative offices operate in more than 50 countries.

TUBIBOND PR series paper packaging adhesives, which are compatible with every type of paper and weather conditions and aligned with the productivity principles focused on speed, waste reduction and non-stop operation of production systems today, are produced domestically at CHT Turkey Kimya's Istanbul plant. Working with leading companies in the packaging sector, CHT Turkey Kimya has developed TUBIBOND PR 145 P and TUBIBOND UV 64 (suitable for quality control elimination under ultraviolet light) adhesives in line with modern and fast systems and has established a leading position in the market. Particularly with TUBIBOND UV 64, it has become the only UV adhesive producer in Turkey capable of delivering products in waste reduction and quality control applications. With a broad research and development team expert in test methodologies and quality of the paper packaging product group, CHT Group provides technical service and sales support to customers in both domestic and export markets through its approach of transferring technology to customers and contributing to manufacturers' production processes. CHT Turkey Kimya, which operates customer-focused and can perform custom production, has major customers among key producers in the corrugated cardboard box and paper packaging (kraft bags, kraft paper, etc.) sectors.
