Baykon Industrial Weighing Systems was founded in 1987, during a period when electronic weighing technology was just beginning to be adopted in Turkey. Our products include load cells, weighing modules, weighing instruments, precision laboratory balances, moisture analysers, industrial scales, parts counting scales, floor scales, U-type low platforms, pallet scales, hand truck scales, monorail scales, special drum scales, crane scales, axle scales, vehicle scales, railway scales and standard masses. Our solutions include tank/reactor weighing, conveyor weighing, can/drum filling, dosing systems, formula preparation, automatic mixing, data collection and labelling, PLC/DSC integration, statistical quality control, statistical process control, parts counting systems, dynamic weighing applications, checkweigher solutions, force/torque measurement, dimension and volume measurement, and special weighing systems. We also own the first mass and scale laboratory, established within Baykon in 1999 and accredited by the Turkish Accreditation Agency. Recently, various procedures and principles have been applied to the marketing of pre-packaged goods. In this context, pre-packaged goods filled up to 10 kg on the basis of volume or weight must be subject to net quantity control under the regulation. One of the methods within the scope of net quantity control is automatic checkweighing scales based on the zero control principle. In this method, the product is weighed as it passes through a conveyor system placed at the machine outlet. Another method is the BakNET computerised control system developed by Baykon. The purpose here is to carry out control by sampling as specified in the regulations. From a traceability perspective, the scales used in both of these methods must be approved. This is the point where we supply such equipment to our customers.
