Santa Farma İlaç, a pharmaceutical company with over 80 years of experience in the sector, has once again demonstrated its strength in innovation and R&D according to the results of "Turkey's Patent Report 2025" published by Patent Effect. The company strengthened its position in the patent ecosystem with achievements across three different categories.

Santa Farma İlaç ranked 3rd nationwide in the "Pharmaceuticals" category, while also delivering notable results in the "Advanced Materials" and "European Patent (EP)" application categories.

TOP 3 SUCCESS IN PHARMACEUTICALS CATEGORY
Santa Farma İlaç secured 3rd place nationwide in the "Pharmaceuticals" category, its primary field of activity, with 67 patent applications. This result was evaluated as an important indicator of the company's R&D and innovation-driven growth strategy.

MULTIDISCIPLINARY INNOVATION APPROACH
The company pursues R&D activities not only in pharmaceuticals but also across different scientific disciplines. In the evaluation conducted in the "Advanced Materials" category, Santa Farma succeeded in entering the top 10 across all sectors with 41 patents.

This result stood out as a concrete reflection of the company's multidisciplinary innovation approach and technology development capacity.

CONSISTENT PERFORMANCE IN EUROPEAN PATENT APPLICATIONS
Continuing its international operations, Santa Farma İlaç ranked among "European Patent Champions" with 4 applications under the European Patent (EP) scope. This achievement strengthened the company's presence in the global patent ecosystem.
